Rebecca Huber

Research Associate

Rebecca Huber is a former research associate at the Institute for Child, Youth and Family Policy at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

Her diversitydatakids.org projects focused on demographics, family and medical leave and childcare subsidies. In addition, Huber worked on the Child-Focused Community Profiles project, building detailed indicator data dashboards on childhood inequity in several cities and counties for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Prior to joining diversitydatakids.org, Huber worked in grassroots non-profits promoting women’s health and supporting formerly incarcerated women re-entering their communities. Based on her experiences as both a practitioner and a researcher, Huber’s policy interests are on issues relating to gender and work, with a particular focus on low wage labor, caregiving, family structure and racial/ethnic equity. Huber holds a master’s in public policy and women’s, gender and sexuality studies from the Heller School.
